Different Types of DVI Cables
It is important to know which DVI cable to use (DVI-D, DVI- A or DVI-I) for your device. You should use the right cable to get optimum video and audio quality. The right DVI cable is the one that is compatible with your device.
This DVI cable is used to transmit the signal to an analog display (e.g. CRT monitor). This cable is commonly used to connect to a VGA device because DVI-A and VGA cables have the same signals. A DVI-A cable is also used to connect a DVI-A source to a DVI-I monitor.
